Deon’s love of music started at the age of 6, when she first started piano lessons. Her versatile playing covers a variety of musical genres including pop and classical.
Deon’s dual expertise in music performance and music education exemplifies her commitment to her craft. In addition to a Bachelor of Music Performance in both harp and piano, she holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching and Master of Teaching from the University of Melbourne.
Deon performs on a 2008 Lyon and Healy Style 85 Concert Grand and Lyon and Healy Odgen, made in Chicago. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, hiking and indulging in her love of baking.
