What more romantic instrument is there than the harp? Its alluring tinkle sets the atmosphere and mood like nothing else.
As every ceremony is unique, Deon will always strive to accommodate your individual requirements. Whether creating bespoke arrangements of your chosen music, curating a repertoire selection or simply matching your desired colour scheme, make your event an incredible musical experience which you and your guests will remember forever.
Deon performs at both civil and religious wedding ceremonies. She is particularly familiar with parts of the Catholic nuptial mass and can also provide music in between readings, during The Gifts, Communion and for worship hymns.
If your venue has a piano, one of Deon’s specialties is providing a mixture of piano & harp music.
Canapés
Aside from being the focal point during the ceremony, the harp lends itself to providing music which is engaging but unintrusive. This allows guests to enjoy the music and their conversation simultaneously.
Reception
Set the stage for your reception evening! Have Deon serenade you during your key moments at your reception: Room Reveal, Guest Welcome, Grand Entrance, First Dance, Cake Cutting and a 45 minute feature performance during dinner time.
On special request, Deon can offer her services accompanied by other instruments.
